I have been watching a YouTube channel called Candid with Lubna for nearly a year now. She is a wonderful lady who is truly brave. Putting her face on camera, speaking to a variety of guests and being critical in her views about Islam. She is from a Muslim family.
The inevitable happened in that she was threatened so bad that the police had to come to her house. I don’t know the exact details and her long form videos have been taken down. As Lubna told her audience that she had to quit in terms of the videos she was making, she received vile death threats that she read out on air.
The mentality exposed was that of the most tribal and ignorant. So, accusing her of defending zionists (like that’s a bad thing but she never has because she doesn’t take sides) and then more aggressive threats came. Lubna was doing good in that she had tried to bring people together, to not be racist and hateful to each other and to understand the psychology of those indoctrinated. Unfortunately, when you deal with cult members especially those belonging to the most vicious death cult in this world, you get threatened.
Do, tell me now, do we really think talks and negotiations will suffice or do you think India and Israel may have a point in fighting Islamic terrorism?
Poor Lubna. I echo the prominent YouTuber Paul Thorpe when I say she is a special lady. May she be safe.

From what I have seen of her videos in the past, she wasn't even critical of Islam but of the behaviour of certain members of her own community. In fact, in her receiving death threats, they have proved her point. I think she was as respectful as she could be in her videos in trying to promote community cohesion and discourage bad behaviour from those of the same ethnic/relgious background as her. If some people read such messages as "hateful", then it does in fact demonstrate a dangerous cult mindset. Sadly I do not hold out much hope that the UK Police or courts will do much, as they have shown such an extraordinary level of reluctance in the past to dealing with those with violent extremist views. I cannot imagine being so incensed by the opinion of some random person online as to track them down and threaten to kill them. I hope that should this person be prosecuted, they serve some serious jail time, although unfortunately I doubt it will happen.
It's so strange to have a state-protected cult. The police should be protecting women and children from violence - it is a basic and fundamental requirement. What is the point of them otherwise? They don't solve burglaries or robbery or prosecute shoplifters. What the hell do they do apart from police social media?
